The American galvanizers Association is a non-for-profit trade association representing the after fabrication hot dip galvanizing industry throughout North America. The AGA was established in 1935 by a group of galvanizers who recognized the need for uniform technical and marketing services. Until the late 1980s, the AGA was known as the AHDGA, or the American Hot Dip Galvaizers Association. The crux of AGA mission is to provide specification and technical assistance to the specification community. The efforts of the AGA are largely educational in nature.
