The Copper Development Association Inc. (CDA) is the advanced engineering and market development arm of the copper and brass industry in the United States.  The members include copper producers worldwide, as well as brass mill, wire mill and foundry fabricators of copper and copper alloys with domestic production facilities.  A primary focus of CDA is the enhancement of traditional architectural applications by exploring both technological advances and improved fabrication and construction methodology.  CDA maintain extensive publications catalogs and libraries available to assist architects, engineers, contractors, owners and all others who are involved in the selection and use of copper, brass and bronze products.

The Institute of the Ironworking Industry is a Joint Labor-Management Trade Association.  The Institute represents the interest of 11,000 erection companies who specialize in the construction industry jobsite erection of structural steel, reinforcing steel, precast concrete, miscellaneous ornamental and architectural metal, windows, skylights, curtain wall, architectural metal walls & panel systems, glazing and specialty building products.  In addition they represent the interest of 126,000 Ironworkers who are employed by the erection contractors and who are also members of the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Rodmen Ironworkers (AFL-CIO).  The Institute represents the interest of its supporting clients in the area of Building Codes, Performance Codes by the American Welding Society, Product Standards-(ASTM) and all other areas where the best interest of the steel erection industry can be served.
