The Steel Plate Fabricators Association is a forum for the steel plate fabricating industry. Members are fabricators manufacturing products from steel plate and companies that supply goods and technology. The Association’s objective is to promote profitable industry growth. Association projects include award programs for the Steel Plate Fabricated Product of the Year for Reservoir, Elevated and Standpipe Storage Tanks, quality certification for steel pipe and accessory manufacturers, and seminars on steel water pipe, steel water tanks and on welding cost reduction and productivity. Services include a monthly business trends report and Wage and Fringe Benefits Surveys.
