Everything you need to know about welding applications is discussed in AISC’s new one-day seminar, Listen to the Steel, presented by recognized authority Duane Miller. Organized into six modules covering a range of topics, the seminar is geared toward providing architects, engineers and contractors with practical information on how to achieve successful welding solutions. Event Recap: Duane Miller addressed an audience of approximately 165 architects, engineers, and construction authorities, in addition to trainees from Local 40 and 361 apprenticeship programs. Miller spoke on the details of welded connections, special welding applications, heavy steel welding, seismic welding, cost reduction ideas, and the “Listen to the Steel” concept.
