Site Visit: LaGuardia Terminal B

Construction of LaGuardia Airport’s new Central Terminal B facility, part of the LaGuardia Central project to redevelop the entire airport over the coming decades, is progressing rapidly. Skanska is leading construction of the project, which is a public-private partnership between LaGuardia Gateway Partners and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.

One of two structural steel pedestrian bridges over active plane taxi lanes, connecting the main departures and arrivals hall that will open in 2020 with the two island concourses. The bridges offer travelers views of the Manhattan skyline as they head to and from their gates.
