Downtown Salt Lake City is banking on a new 425,000-square-foot high rise to be the face of its green revitalization. The Skidmore, Owings & Merrill-designed office building is the city’s first LEED-certified high-rise, relying on 4,843 tons of steel-frame construction for the tenant flexibility and long spans needed to attract occupants in a difficult real estate market.
