MoMA

New York, NY

The paradoxical architecture of the 630,000-square-foot Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) is so striking and well-executed, it disappears, and that’s exactly what architect Yoshio Taniguchi intended. The grand lobby, atrium space, and surfaces throughout the interior achieve a flatness and transparency with 20 different types of curtain wall to keep visitors focused solely on the artwork.
