Third Avenue Bridge

New York, NY

Commuters woke up one morning and discovered a new Third Avenue Bridge. To minimize disruption to the flow of 72,000 vehicles that use it daily, Hardesty & Hanover, LLP Engineering fabricated the 3,500 square foot reconstruction, which included ramps, approach spans, and swing spans, off-site in Alabama in six phases and later barged it 1,800 miles to New York.
